Hallo! Welcome to my site. My name is Christian and I am a Hobby Chef & Baker from Germany.

I have a passion for good food, inspired by German and Italian cuisine. I love sharing my creations with friends, family and YOU!
You can find recipes for breads & rolls, cakes & cookies, as well as homemade pasta, pizza, risotto, and, of course, German food. Prost, friends!
Deliciously fudgy, melt in your mouth cookies with a hint of cinnamon.

What you need for about 20
3.5 oz / 100 gr of semi sweet chocolate
1/2 stick / 50 gr of butter
1/4 cup / 60 gr of sugar
3/4 cup / 100 gr of flour
1 egg + 1 egg yolk
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp of baking cocoa
1 pinch of salt
1 tsp of cinnamon

Decoration
powdered sugar

Step by step:

Melt the chocolate with the butter in a bowl over hot water. Add to a mixing bowl and let cool slightly. Mix in sugar, egg and egg yolk. Add flour, baking powder, cocoa, salt and cinnamon. Mix well, then chill in the fridge for about 2 hours.

Preheat the oven to 350F / 170C. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. With a small spoon or a small ice cream scoop form walnut sized balls. Roll in powdered sugar and place on a baking sheet. Leave about 4.5 inches room between the cookies.

Bake for about 13 - 14 minutes. Let cool slightly then dust again with powdered sugar.

Enjoy!
