Welcome back friends! It’s been a while since the last post. I was occupied working on an amazing event.
As you may know, a few weeks ago I helped my wonderful friend George from www.brilliantdesignco.com at a British Festival in Fallston, MD with some baked goodies.
Its was a great experience and the HappyGermanChef came to life.
What to do after this? Try to do something more.
So, I reached out to the Maryland Germans who were already planning their annual German Festival - for the 118th time! And, what shall I say - it was meant to be.
They were looking for someone who could sell pastries - and I was looking to sell
some.
And it happened with great success. So much so, that I’m already planning the next event - Zion Church Christmas Market later this year.
Pretzel Rolls, Baumkuchen & Co. were a success and they sure will be back - accompanied by Lebkuchen, Vanille Kipferl (vanilla moons) and more -
at the Christmas Market. I will post the dates and times once they are released.
So, stay tuned.
But with Christmas still some time away, what will be next?
Well, how about some home made pasta to look forward to? And, once Fall is here, some heavier good old German comfort food like Goulasch / beef stew and the secret to a really nice chicken noodle soup.
