What's new with HappyGermanChef

What a few busy weeks it has been. My regular day job kept me busy, as well as the adventures of HappyGermanChef.


In my last blog post, I told you about my friend and coworker wo is 3rd generation Italian American. She provided me with amazing recipes. One of which - Ravioli - I have already tried. They are phenomenal. I boiled them in salted water and served them with 2 sauces. A white "wine & gorgonzola sauce" & tomato sauce. The recipe made about 40 raviolis - enough for leftovers. I simply baked the raviolis in the 2 sauces, topped with mozzarella for about 40 - 45 minutes.


I added a new recipe section, as well. German Recipes currently featuring 2 different styles of potato salads and Obazda - a Bavarian cheese spread with camembert, butter, cream cheese and paprika.

What will be next on HappyGermanChef? Sunday will now be Pasta Sunday. The next recipes have already been lined up. Always wanted to try some #carbonara? Stay tuned it's coming. Pictures, as usual, will be posted on Facebook and Instagram.
